Shrikesh Sheshaprasad received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore, India. He joined EMPE lab in Fall 2019 as a Ph.D. student. His research interests include electric vehicles, motor control, and power electronics.

S. Mehdi Seyedi received his B.S degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Power Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2013. He received his M.S degree in Electrical Engineering in Power Electronics and Electrical Machine Design from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2015. He was an electromagnetic expert in the R & D department of MAPNA Generator and Wind Turbine Co. Tehran, Iran, since 2016 till 2021. He joined the EMPE lab in Spring 2021 as a PhD student. His research interests include electrical machine design and control drives.

Logan Smith received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in December 2017 and Master of Business Administration in May 2019 from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX. He then worked at CNS Pantex for a year as a Mechanical Engineer. He joined the EMPE lab in June 2020. His research focus will be on high gear ratio magnetically geared machines and motor drives.

Guanhua Tao received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, Texas, in December 2022. He joined the EMPE lab as an Electrical Engineering PhD student in December 2022. His research interests include the design and control of magnetic gears and magnetically geared machines, as well as the design and control of AC link power converters.
