In her defense, Dorsa will present her research on the design and performance of axial flux dual rotor motors, a highly efficient pancake-shaped electric motor technology. These motors are versatile and can be customized for various applications, ranging from cost-effective HVAC systems to aerospace technologies that require a high power-to-mass ratio.
